Questions people ask

How long does it actually take?

The writing takes under a minute. Filling in the form takes longer, and it should: the question asking for your stories is where a good speech actually comes from. Give that one ten minutes and the drafts land before you have put the kettle on.

Will it sound like me, or like AI?

Like you. We write from your stories, names and notes, not from generic templates. We also block the dead-giveaway AI phrases and, just as importantly, the AI sentence shapes: the em-dash, the rule of three, and the "not just a partner, but a best friend" construction. You can read eight complete examples at raiseaspeech.com/speeches and judge for yourself.

Can I read a full speech before I buy?

Yes, twice over. Eight complete speeches are published free at raiseaspeech.com/speeches, one for each role at the top table. And when you start an order we write the opening of your own speech, from your own story, before you pay anything.

Will it make things up about my friends?

No, and this is the failure we work hardest to prevent. The speech is built only from the details you type in. It will not invent dialogue, add people who were not there, guess dates or weather, or turn "he likes dinosaurs" into a specific claim about the Cretaceous period. A speech that invents a detail makes you say something untrue about your own friends, out loud, in front of them.

What if I do not like any of the three drafts?

Reply to the delivery email within 7 days saying what you would like different, whether that is a different tone, more about a specific story, or less of something else, and we will regenerate. As many times as it takes, free.

Do you offer cash refunds?

If we fail to deliver within 24 hours of payment, yes. Full refund, that is on us. Once the drafts have been sent we offer free regenerations rather than cash back. The value is already in your inbox; we just need to get it right.

What about my privacy? These are real stories about real people.

Your input is encrypted in transit and at rest, kept for 90 days, then deleted automatically. We never share it. Email hello@raiseaspeech.com for a delete-now request.

Why not just use ChatGPT?

You can. You will get something that opens with "Ladies and gentlemen" and contains the word "tapestry". The difference is not the model, it is the several hundred lines of instruction telling it how British wedding speeches actually sound and forbidding it from inventing anything about your friends.

It takes one story to find out.

Write your opening for free. Decide afterwards.
